The Cocoon Chiang Mai

The Cocoon Chiang Mai – Our Favorite Wellness Spot for Sauna, Ice Bath & Mountain Views

The Cocoon Chiang Mai

Hello Chiang Mai! We’re slow travelers who love exploring new places while staying active and healthy. In our last article, we shared about Absolute Gym, located just next to our accommodation at Chiang Roi 7 days inn. This time, we’re excited to introduce you to one of our favorite wellness spots in the city — The Cocoon Chiang Mai.

A Peaceful Place to Reset Your Body and Mind

The Cocoon Chiang Mai is a small but cozy wellness center tucked away from the busy streets. It may not be big, but it has everything you need to relax and recharge: an ice bath, a saltwater pool, a steam room, and even a quiet area for yoga or simply laying down and enjoying the view.

What really amazed us was the beautiful mountain view right behind the property. As we moved between the sauna and cold plunge, we could see the peaceful green hills in the distance — the perfect natural backdrop for wellness.

The Cocoon Chiang Mai : Price and What’s Included

The entry fee is just 300 THB, and it’s totally worth it. This includes:

  • A clean towel
  • Access to the steam room
  • A relaxing ice bath
  • Use of the salt pool
  • Bathroom and shower facilities after your session
  • Free drinking water available on-site

It’s a great deal for anyone looking for a refreshing break in Chiang Mai.

Herbal Steam Room with Changing Scents

One thing we really liked was the herbal steam room. The staff use different herbs throughout the day, so the scent inside is always changing. During our visit, we smelled lemongrass and many Thai herbs, which made the whole experience feel more natural and healing. It’s warm, steamy, and great for detoxing after a long day of travel or working out.

Great for Wellness Lovers and Curious Travelers

Whether you’re into fitness, want to try ice bath therapy, or just curious about new experiences in northern Thailand — The Cocoon Chiang Mai is a great place to visit. It’s clean, quiet, and has a friendly local vibe. We even saw some people doing breathwork and meditation while relaxing between hot and cold sessions.
