Did you know Phu Quoc Island has its own cinema? I didn’t either—until I found out about Beta Cinemas Phu Quoc, and it honestly surprised me. This small island off the coast of Vietnam is known for beaches and seafood, but going to the movies here? That was totally unexpected.
Where is Beta Cinemas Phu Quoc?
Beta theater is located on the 3rd floor of TR Mall Phu Quoc, just a 30-minute scooter ride from the central area. The mall is cozy, and the cinema is easy to find once you’re inside. If you’re looking for a relaxing indoor activity in Phu Quoc, this is a cool option—especially when the weather turns or you want a break from the beach.
What’s the Cinema Like?
The cinema has 3 screening rooms, each with around 48 seats, so it’s a small and intimate movie experience. The design is colorful, modern, and super cute. It feels more premium than you’d expect for a small island theater.
We watched Deadpool—the sound and screen quality were really good! And the ticket price? Just 100,000 VND per person, which is about $4 USD. Total win.
Popcorn & Vibes
We grabbed some popcorn before the movie. I went for the cheese flavor, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. If you like sweet-savory snacks, you might enjoy it more than I did. Still, it added to the fun.
