What Is Koh Sak Island?
Ko Sak (also spelled Koh Sak) is a quiet, private island near Pattaya. You won’t find public ferries going there the only way to visit is by joining a private boat tour or hiring a private boat. This makes it less crowded than other islands nearby, and perfect if you’re looking to relax or enjoy water activities without the big crowds.
The island has clear blue water, a sandy beach, and good spots for snorkeling, swimming, or simply chilling under the sun. If you love small islands that feel untouched, this is definitely one of the best day trips from Pattaya.
Our One Day Trip to Koh Sak Thailand with Trichudo Pattaya
We joined a 1-day boat trip with Trichudo Pattaya, and it was so much more than just a boat ride—it was a full experience! Here’s what the day looked like:
DJ & Welcome Party Onboard
As soon as we stepped onto the boat at Bali Hai Pier Pattaya, the fun began. A live DJ played music to set the mood, and the staff welcomed us warmly. The boat was spacious, clean, and felt like a mini floating club. Definitely not your average boat ride.
Parasailing Over the Sea
One of the best parts? Parasailing Pattaya! It was thrilling to rise above the ocean and see the clear water and nearby islands from the sky. If you’ve never done this before, it’s worth trying at least once. The staff made sure we were safe and comfortable.

Next, the boat stopped at a good location for fishing. Don’t worry if you’ve never fished before—they provided all the equipment and showed us how to use it. We were surprised to see so many fish and squid. Even if you don’t catch anything, just trying it is fun!
One Hour on Ko Sak Island
Then we reached Ko Sak Island and had an hour to explore, relax, and swim. The beach was quiet and peaceful. It felt like we had our own island for a while. Some people swam, some snorkeled, and some just relaxed under the trees. The water was super clear and refreshing.
Foam Party Pattaya & Sea Slide on the Way Back
As we headed back to shore, the party wasn’t over yet! The foam party began with music from the DJ, and everyone was dancing, laughing, and enjoying the moment. There was also a slide from the boat into the sea—which was a big hit with everyone on board.
The Unlucky Moment…at Ko Sak Island Pattaya
Everything was perfect—until we accidentally dropped our phone into the sea. Yep, it sank. So if you’re going on a trip like this, make sure your phone is waterproof or bring a dry bag. Lesson learned!
