Let’s Talk About Phu Quoc Beaches

What made you decide to travel to the island? What’s on your mind? I believe we share a common interest—Phu Quoc Beaches. The main reason we are here in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, is because of its beautiful beach.

As an island, Phu Quoc has many beach, but each one is different. Some are great for swimming, while others are not. In this article, we’ll take you through 3 beaches we visited. Let’s check out Phu Quoc Beach and see which one will be the best beach in Phu Quoc for you.

First, Khem Beach

Phu Quoc Beaches

Vroom…Vroom… The sound of our scooter starting means we are ready for the journey. Our first destination is Khem Beach, located on the southern coast of Phu Quoc Island Vietnam. We rode from the western coast of Phu Quoc Island to the southern coast, which took around 28 minutes for a distance of 21 km.

After riding for a while, we passed by colorful buildings that looked beautiful but were empty. No one was staying in the building (in March 2024) when we visited. Not long after, we arrived at the parking area for our scooter and walked past some restaurants. Then, the wild and beautiful beach appeared in front of us. The white sand and crystal-clear water were stunning. There were water activities available and areas to sit around. The beach looked very clean. The water level was only about knee-deep, which meant we would need to walk quite a distance into the sea to swim. So, we decided to look for another beach with deeper water for a better swimming experience. Next is Phu Quoc Bai sao

Phu Quoc Beaches : Second, Sao Beach 1

After visiting Khem Beach Phu Quoc, we found the water too shallow for swimming, so we decided to switch beaches in search of better conditions. We arrived at Sao Beach 1, which offered beautiful photo spots and, thankfully, deeper water than Khem Beach while still maintaining its cleanliness. We rented a sunbed for 70,000 VND and were able to stay as long as we wanted.

One thing I hadn’t seen before was an ice cream scooter on the beach. It was so intriguing that I couldn’t resist taking a photo of the ice cream vendor. I can only imagine how difficult it must be to ride a scooter on the sandy beach! and there have the Highlands coffee sao beach

The last one, The Sunset Sanato Beach Club

Phu Quoc Beaches

A few days after visiting Khem Beach and Sao Beach, we continued exploring new spots because it’s always exciting to discover something different. This time, we went to Sunset Sanato Beach Club Phu Quoc Vietnam. Upon arrival, we needed to purchase entrance tickets.

The ticket price was 90k VND per person, which included just a chair and table on the beach.

If we wanted to use a sunbed, we had to pay an additional 100k VND per sunbed.

Once inside, we found Sunset Sanato Beach Club to be absolutely wonderful. The water was clear, the sand was white, and there were plenty of photo-worthy spots. There’s also a large restaurant and a bar, and sometimes they host concerts and events right on the beach.
