Grand World Phu Quoc: Vietnam Venice

Grand World Phu Quoc

If you’re visiting Phu Quoc, Grand World Phu Quoc is a must-see destination you shouldn’t miss! Known as Vietnam’s Venice, this stunning attraction offers beautiful canals, gondola rides, colorful architecture, and vibrant cultural shows — perfect for travelers looking for something unique.

Our Visit to Phu Quoc Grand World

When the weather looked nice, we decided to hop on our scooter and ride north to explore Grand World Phu Quoc. (If you don’t want to ride a motorbike, don’t worry — there’s also a free shuttle bus that you can take directly to Grand World!)

As we arrived, we were amazed at how big and beautifully designed the area was. Grand World feels like a little European city mixed with Vietnamese charm. Walking around is free, and there are many open areas where you can explore without paying anything.

Some attractions inside Grand World do require a ticket, like museums and shows, but you can still enjoy a lot just by strolling around, taking photos, and soaking up the atmosphere.

After walking for a while, we found many restaurants and cafés where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy both Vietnamese and Western food. The vibe was lively but still felt very laid-back.

Gondola Ride at Venice in Phu Quoc

One of the most famous experiences at Grand World is the gondola ride, just like in little Venice Phu Quoc!
Gliding through the canals on a gondola is both romantic and peaceful, making it a favorite activity for couples and families.

Gondola Ride Price:

  • Standard ticket: around 150,000 VND per person (about 6 USD)

  • Opening hours: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM daily

Prices may change slightly depending on the season, but it’s very affordable compared to Venice!

The ride lasts around 15–20 minutes, taking you through the scenic canal area where you can admire the colorful European-style buildings and little bridges. It’s a perfect spot for taking photos!
