Acqua Condominium Jomtien Beach Review
If you’re thinking about staying at Acqua Condominium Jomtien Beach, here’s what you should know. We stayed there for one month in April 2024, and while the location was great, our experience had some unexpected surprises.
Why We Chose Acqua Condominium Jomtien
A Quiet Location Near the Beach
Before booking any place, we always check the location first. We chose Jomtien Beach because it’s quieter than Pattaya, making it a good spot to relax. This condo is also:
- Near Jomtien Night Market, perfect for food and shopping.
- Close to the beach, so we could walk there easily.
- Not far from Bali Hai Pier, which made it easy to visit Koh Larn Island.
How We Found Acqua Condo Jomtien Beach
After choosing Jomtien, we looked for accommodation Booking com. We checked the prices, reviews, and photos, then double-checked Google Maps to see what past guests said.
At first, we wanted to return to Copacabana Condominium, but the price was too high that month. Instead, Acqua Condominium Jomtien looked like a good option because it offered:
- Large studios for rent with a big balcony
- Good gym facilities
- A fair price compared to other options
First Impressions of Acqua Condominium Jomtien
When we arrived, we saw that the condo has two parking areas. Luckily, we didn’t have to register or pay for parking because the owner arranged it for us.
The room looked nice, just like the reviews said. But the facilities around the condo were a mix of good and bad:
Security & safety condominium jomtien pattaya
One of the good things about Acqua Condominium is that it feels safe. The building has:
- 24-hour security
- CCTV cameras in common areas
- Keycard access to enter the building
This made us feel secure during our stay.
Relaxation & Leisure Facilities at Acqua Jomtien Beach
One of the best things about this condo is the relaxation facilities. Acqua Condominium Jomtien offers:
- A table tennis area for a fun game.
- A snooker pool table for those who enjoy playing.
- A yoga room for stretching and meditation.
- A kids’ room with space for children to play.
- A reading corner for those who love to sit and enjoy a book.
- A drinking water machine so you don’t have to buy bottled water all the time.
However, there were also some disappointments:
- The main swimming pool was closed for renovation, so we couldn’t use it.
- The rooftop pool was open but very small, so it felt crowded.
- The gym was well-equipped, which was a big plus for us.
Aqua Condo for rent / How Much Did It Cost?
- Monthly rent: 25,100 THB
- Deposit (cleaning, electricity, and water): 4,000 THB
- Total paid: 29,100 THB
- Refund received: 700 THB
- Final cost: 28,400 THB (716 EUR)
We ended up paying more than expected, as the final cost was higher than the original deal on Booking.com.
The Reality vs. Our Expectations
While we expected a comfortable stay, we faced a few issues:
- The building was under renovation, and plaster dust fell onto our balcony.
- The big pool was closed, which was disappointing since it was one of the reasons we booked this place.
- The landlord didn’t register me with immigration, even though it was part of the agreement.
Would We Stay Here Again?
Maybe yes but next time we will book with a different landlord. You can find better condos in Jomtien for the same price or less.
If we had known about the extra fees, construction issues, and pool closure, we would have paid a bit more to stay at Copacabana Condominium, which offers a much better experience.
Final Tip for Travelers
If you’re thinking about staying at Acqua Condominium Jomtien, you may want to reconsider—especially if it’s with the same landlord.
For our next trip, we’ll either book Copacabana Beach Jomtien or find a better host on Airbnb. Also, the checkout process was strange—the landlord wasn’t even there and just slipped the refund under the door.
