Chong Khao Khat Sunset Koh Sichang: Sunset Time Review
Do you ever wonder what the sunset looks like at Chong Khao Khat Ko Sichang? In this blog, I will review Chong Khao Khat Sunset Koh Sichang, so that you can better prepare for your evening on the island. This article provides you with the best sunset viewpoints in Koh Si Chang.
What is the Chong Khao Khat?
Chong Khao Khat is a cliff walkway and viewpoint on the western side of Koh Si Chang Island, Chonburi Province, Thailand. Because it faces directly west, it is the best place on the entire island to watch the sun go down over the Gulf of Thailand.
The sunset here is not just a sunset. You are standing on the famous Vachirawut Bridge, a wooden walkway built right into the rocky cliff edge, while the sky in front of you turns orange, pink, and deep purple. It is a completely open view with nothing blocking you. Just the sea, the rocks below, and the colors of the sky.

Chong Khao Khat Sunset : From Our Experience
We had come to Chong Khoa Khat specifically to watch the sunset while visiting Koh Si Chang. Once we arrived around 5:00 PM, we saw that many more people were beginning to arrive as well. We located a spot on the Vachirawut Bridge and waited for the sun to set over the ocean.
In sequence, this was one of the most amazing things I experienced throughout my entire trip. After the sun set behind the horizon, the color of the sky transformed from the warm color of gold to a very bright orange as the orange light began to illuminate the clouds and eventually turn the sky a range of pink and orange.
The sound of the waves below, the sea breeze, and this incredible sky all together it felt very special. We took so many photos and videos. We also made a video here so you can see exactly what it looks like.

We stayed until the sun fully disappeared and the sky went dark. There was no rush. The atmosphere was calm and very romantic. If you are visiting Koh Si Chang as a couple, this is an absolute must-do.
