The Kheo Coffee is a small specialty cafe in the An Thuong area of Da Nang, close to My Khe Beach. Unlike a big chain such as Cong Caphe, this place feels more like a cozy, aesthetic spot that focus on good coffee.

For this article, we will talk about our experience once we went to visit The Kheo Coffee in the An Thuong area of Da Nang. Around 11 in the morning felt like the right time to go, the street was still quiet, only a few motorbikes parked outside. Step by step, here is how it went.
What we ordered at The Kheo Coffee
Coffee in the wafer was our first order, since it is the drink most people come here for. Instead of a normal cup, they serve it inside the wafer. Cold, thick, and honestly one of the more Instagram-friendly drinks we tried in Da Nang. This is also the drink behind the viral wafer cup video you might have seen on TikTok and IG reels from this cafe.
A another cold blew coffee came next, good and simple, looks so fancy and well made. Seating is small, so don’t worry if you go on a weekend morning and it looks full. Takeaway is always an option, and they have their own stylish takeaway cups too.
How much does it cost?
At The Kheo Coffee Da Nang, we paid 158,000 VND for 2 coffees, which is about €5.24. That sounds like a lot for coffee, but these were not a normal cup of coffee. Special, unique creations like this are worth trying at least once. Regular Vietnamese and Western options are also on the menu for less, if you just want a simple coffee.
What is egg coffee at The Kheo Coffee?
This is a Vietnamese specialty, and if you have never tried it, you need to. Premium robusta coffee with an egg cream on top is what it’s made from. Might be sounds strange, but it tastes like vanilla, caramel, and chocolate all at once. Trying it at least once while you are in Vietnam is something you should do, and The Kheo Coffee makes one of the better versions we had in Da Nang.

How to get there: Walking distance applies if you are staying near My Khe Beach or in the An Thuong area, just a few minutes either way. Grab is the easiest option from further out in Da Nang. Just search “The Kheo Coffee” or use the address above.
Best time to visit The Kheo Coffee
- Morning (7–10 AM): Quiet, best for photos, fresh bread just out
- Midday: Can get busy with brunch crowd
- Evening: More relaxed, good for a slow coffee before dinner in An Thuong

Yes, from our experience The Kheo Coffee is worth a visit. Especially if you already love coconut coffee, or you want a nice photo stop while you are around An Thuong. Being the biggest or most famous cafe in Da Nang was never the point here.
