Wear comfortable shoes. The market is large and you will walk a lot. Sandals are fine but make sure they are comfortable for a long evening.
Go after 18:30 for the best atmosphere. Before that, many stalls are still setting up and the energy is much lower.
Bargain politely. A smile and a friendly attitude will always get you a better price. Don’t be aggressive just be friendly and ask “Can you do a little cheaper?” It works very well.
Be ready for insects near the lights at night. This is something not many people mention, but the market lights attract small insects in the evening. It is not a big problem but worth knowing.
