Experience at the wet market

Chowkit Market at KL is the wet market. If you’re living in Kuala Lumpur for a while and enjoy cooking at home, the wet market or Chow kit Market KL is the perfect place to find fresh and cheap ingredients. During our month-long stay in Kuala Lumpur, we also went to Chowkit Market. It’s not far from where we stayed at Regalia Residence, just a 20 minute walk away. Even though it is strong smelling,  and there are lots of people, the prices are much lower than at regular supermarkets in malls.

Also, Chow Kit Market isn’t just about buying food. You can soak in the local culture and try some tasty dish local too. It’s a really fun experience! We were amazed by the huge bananas, almost as long as our arms. When we asked the seller how to eat them, he said they’re best cooked before eating. There’s so much to see and learn, as you’ll see in our video.
